With AirID2 you can use your digital identity anywhere and anytime. Regardless of device or operating system! With a standard ID-1 smart card in credit card format, you can use AirID2 for all smart card applications and FIDO authentication in everyday transactions.
The wireless smart card reader in the “credit card” format. This means that smartcard functions of a conventional corporate ID card can be used wirelessly on different devices. AirID supports Apple iOS, Android, Windows, Linux and the interfaces Bluetooth Low Energy and USB. The existing NFC function of the smart card is also retained. Discover unlimited applications such as 2-factor authentication, smart card logon, encryption, etc. and automatic locking of your device when you move away from it.
In many companies, smartcards are used as employee ID cards and have been tried and tested in practice for many years. With AirID, all you need is one secure storage for your digital identity. You can store all your authorizations, certificates, PINs or other keys on just one portable smart card and then make these authorizations available for various devices and applications of all kinds. Your confidential keys and certificates are always kept separate from the device and cryptographically sealed so that they are protected against unauthorized access.
We recommend the use of AirID with EAL5+ certified (ID-1) smart cards. This protects your sensitive data in compliance with maximum security and best usability.
